We are proud to announce the opening of a new Cap-it Truck Accessory Centre in Calgary, AB.

Big Steel Industries started making steel truck shells over 30 years ago gradually replacing the steel with fiberglass canopies. Along the way Big Steel added truck accessories to their retail sales in a continuing effort to create a one stop shop for their customers' accessory requirements.
The present owners have been operating Big Steel for 10 years and were manufacturing and supplying Big Steel with fiberglass shells for over 30 years.In a continuing effort to increase customer service, selection and satisfaction, the owners have decided to move the company forward by joining Cap-it International, now operating as CAP-IT BIG STEEL.

What a result!!

Increased buying power, product selection, outstanding dealer network, 24/7 e commerce and the ability to attract and maintain a very knowledgeable sales and service team.
The owners, Norton and Clare Rose, continue to live in Medicine Hat and operate their fiberglass manufacturing facility there. However, they are gradually slowing that portion of their business down and are moving forward with these new retail endeavors.Having worked his way from installer to manager, the Calgary store has been successfully run by long time employee Philip Peters.
